PRIVATE PPO INDIVIDUAL PLANS
These are private MEC plans on Nationwide PPO networks. They are built just like group plans that are often offered through employers, but now available to those who do not have that option and do not want to go through the Federal Marketplace for insurance. Unlike the Marketplace, unfortunately, they are lightly underwritten and not all may qualify.
People who are currently pregnant or have been diagnosed or treated for any of the following in the last 5 years will not be eligible for these plans:
- Autoimmune Disease
- Blood Disease
- Cancer
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Chronic Pneumonia
- COPD
- Emphysema
- Heart Attack
- Heart Disease
- Heart Surgery
- Kidney, Liver, Lung, Heart Failure or transplant
- Musculoskeletal Disorder
- Respiratory Disorder
- Stroke
- Type 1 Diabetes
